ITINERARY:
We begin our fascinating odyssey through the Aegean in magnificent
Istanbul, a city straddling the divide between Asia and Europe.
Its colorful history, ranging from its time when it was known
as Constantinople to its designation as capital of the powerful
Ottoman Empire, enriches this city with glorious architecture
and immense treasures.
While in Turkey, we'll visit the Greco-Roman
city of Ephesus, one of the most important cities of the ancient
world. And while sailing in the Aegean we'll stop to visit three
delightful Greek isles: Mykonos, Santorini and the lovely walled
city of Rhodes. We'll conclude our cruise in Athens, home to the
Parthanon and so much of Greece's classical era. While there we'll
enjoy two nights in a deluxe hotel and spend a day seeing the
sights.
