Vietnam, Halong Bay, Angkor Wat, Pnom Penh, Saigon and the Mekong River: Fascinating
Join us in Hanoi as the year 2011 begins during the region's most comfortable time of year to travel. We'll stay in superb hotels as we explore Vietnam's capital with its rich Vietnamese traditions mixed with Chinese and French influences -- an ideal beginning to our fascinating journey.
Near Hanoi we board a luxurious wooden 'junk' to sail through the misty pinnacles of Halong Bay, a UNESCO world heritage site. From Halong Bay we fly to Siem Reap, located adjacent to the magnificent complex of temples we call Angkor Wat. Next we board our beautiful new riverboat, La Marguerite, at Asia's largest lake, Tonle Sap. During the next week we'll explore rural Cambodia, visit the stunning Royal Palace in the capital, Pnom Penh and begin our cruise on the might Mekong River.

When we conclude our visit in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), we'll have seen much of Vietnam and Cambodia in some depth. Don't forget your camera (wonderful photography) or your Visa card, for outstanding shopping.
Includes:

Call us for a complete brochure or click on the "PDF doc" below to download the brochure to your computer or printer. Also we've recently received an article (Word doc) written by the editor and publisher of The Avid Cruiser on his experience cruising the Mekong River on our riverboat, La Marguerite. You may wish to review that as well. Download 2011 Vietnam Cambodia
